• Patient & Practice Mix

  • Patient population: 60% adult / 40% pediatric
  • Practice mix:
    • 60% clinic
    • 30% surgery
    • 10% hospital
• Clinic goal of approximately 30 patients per day
• Strong procedural volume, including numerous minor office-based procedures

• Call

  • ER call currently approximately 1:4
  • Shared with 3 community ENT physicians and Blessing providers
  • Expected to move toward 1:5 with additional recruitment
  • Light call activity:
    • Approximately 4 consults per week
    • On-site hospital coverage averages approximately once per week
  • Optional, separately compensated facial trauma call
  • Facial fractures shared with Plastic Surgery
  • No requirement to perform mandible fractures
  • Typical trauma cases include nasal, zygomatic and orbital fractures

• OR Access

  • Dedicated surgery center block: 1 day per week
  • Main OR block: 1 day per month
  • Additional cases can be scheduled as needed

• Office Procedures & Resources

  • Flexible and rigid laryngoscopy
  • Ambu scopes
  • Minor lesion excisions
  • Electrocautery available in clinic
  • On-site lab and X-ray
  • Strong clinical support team, including MOAs, CMAs and LPNs

• Scope of Practice
  Candidates should be comfortable with broad-spectrum general ENT. More complex cases may be referred to tertiary centers, including complex head and neck cancer requiring robotics, neck dissections, laryngectomy, skull-base tumors, complex carotid tumors, flap reconstruction, cochlear implants, acoustic neuromas and complex otologic surgery.

• Audiology Support

• Blessing is also planning to add an Audiologist to its established ENT practice serving Quincy, Illinois and Hannibal, Missouri
• Audiologist will support hearing-loss evaluation and treatment and the hearing-aid component of the practice
• Doctorate from an accredited/qualified Audiology program required
• Must possess or be eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology

For physician recruitment, I would emphasize four things in outreach: immediate volume, two openings created by growth/succession planning, light shared call, and flexibility to build a subspecialty niche. Those are probably the strongest differentiators in what you provided.
