What you need to know:

Practice Details

  • Seeking a BE/BC Thoracic Surgeon or Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our system of over 270 providers.

  • This position will work closely with pulmonology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology. a rewarding practice in the heart of the Midwest alongside a strong oncology program with over 70% of the market share

  • Seeking a BE/BC Thoracic Surgeon to support expansion and growth of a strong oncology program.

  • Will work closely with pulmonology, medical oncology, radiation oncology

  • Robotic surgery and ION experience required

  • Academic appointments available with University of IL College of Medicine at Rockford.

Procedures:

  • Surgical ablations (MAZE or Modified MAZE procedures, pulmonary vein isolation
  • Occasionally, epicardial pacer wire when Cardiology can’t get a transvenous wire in; and  places Temporary pacer wires.
  • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
  • Heart valve repair or replacement?
  • We have an Impella device, but not a true VAD.
