What you need to know:

Practice Details

  • Seeking a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide direct patient care in the clinic and hospital setting and examines and treats patients with cardiovascular disorders and diseases.

  • The Cardiologist will perform general cardiology duties as assigned in support of the local cardiology group, including but not limited to: cardiology call coverage, responding to emergent cardiac cases (as appropriate), inpatient rounding, clinic services, outreach services, reading cardiac imaging, and other responsibilities consistent with training and medical staff privileging.

    • Regularly seeing patients in outpatient non-invasive cardiology clinic at Robbinsdale, Maple Grove and outreach sites. This will involve seeing new and follow-up patients.
    • Participating in the inpatient cardiology rounding service.
    • Participating in the noninvasive cardiology call schedule.
    • Participating in reading rest/stress echoes and nuclear studies; performing TEEs and cardioversions.
  • Position Qualifications

    • Board eligible or certified in Cardiology
    • Current State of Minnesota Medical Doctor license
    • Valid DEA Registration
    • CT training desired, but not necessary
