What you need to know:

Practice Details

  • Seeking (1) General GI and (1) Advanced GI to join a team of 6 GI’s (3 advanced and 3 general)

  • No call, no weekends.  GI Hospitalist program covers inpatient and procedures.

  • Monday through Thursday 8 AM – 5 PM (1st procedure starts around 730a) ½ day / week of clinic on Friday’s (several physicians opt to use 2nd ½ of Friday for procedures, others use as admin day).

  • Strong APP Support (they run the general clinic).

  • 4 days of procedures (15+ procedures/day) and half-day of clinic (12 patients max).

  • For Advanced GIs:

      • Performing 800-1100 procedures per year
      • Approximately 100 ERCP’s per year (currently, scheduling ERCP procedures 2 months out.
      • Advanced procedures are done in outpatient surgery (endoscopy) and operating room at hospital. 
  • For General GI’s:
      • Performing 1,000 colonoscopies per year.

  • Clinic / GI Center offers 6 exam rooms, one room assigned per GI.

  • Endoscopy suite in hospital

  • Base Salary: $650,000
  • Sign-On: $75,000
